Facebook pages for Business use
I don't have any interest in Facebook. I don't use Farmville, and in general just don't have time to spend wasting on this app. However, there are business reasons to have an established Facebook presence. I'm going to use this page to gather links, resources, and key learnings as I struggle to set up a Business FB.

So I've got the business FB working and it's tied to twitter. So any new FB posts get tweeted. Now I want to connect Microsoft Liver Writer to a Like button so each post has it's on FB "Like" button. I looked around and found this;

The idea here is to make sure that all blog posts have an automated FB Like button on them. They already auto tweet.
UPDATE 6/2/2011
Some things I've learned;
- You need 25 likes to get a custom page url
- this is not the same as a PROFILE url/username
- you can have multiple PAGES associate to one profile
- each PAGE can have it's own custom url (with the 25 likes
- what you need for most businesses is a PAGE, not a profile, and not a group
- this is really weird from a web development background, it's hard to get used to and a lot of conflicting information.
- much of the information from FB on their own site is actually outdated
The first thing I've seemed to learn is that you used to be able to use an app called FBML to customize your pages. It seems FB has killed that.
It doesn't seem there is anything quite like it available. Facebook is pushing for iFRAMES use, but that's not nearly as flexible. For example, iFRAMES won't let you create tabs.
